Group for Transforming Negative Body ImageSM
When: Wednesdays, 6:30pm - 8:15pm
Location: Sacramento St - San Francisco
Cost: $65 per meeting, payable monthly (Visa/Mastercard accepted)
14 session commitment ~ Small group format - 6 members Women have few places where they can talk openly about negative and positive feelings about their bodies. We carry these feelings alone, increasing our confusion and shame. Through writing, discussion and meditations we tell our stories, explore how we developed negative body image, share resources, brainstorm how to manage body image experiences and support you to move into a new experience of your body - YOUR unique 'physical nature'. With the support of other women, you will learn to nurture, celebrate and honor the wisdom of your body. You will also have the opportunity to learn about and apply the Health At Every Size® principles.
